Long time, no talk... but why? What's been happening lately?

Hi guys!

I know I haven't been so active on here... I am sorry about that! Between school starting back, keeping a social/personal life, and graduate school again, I have been running non-stop!

I am going to try my best to update the blog as often as I can... I am working on posts for my miniseries slowly but surely... but also I want to let you know that if you don't hear from me for awhile, I haven't forgotten y'all! I'm still very active on my instagram (@taylorteachesinternational) so go check me out there if you haven't before!

Here's a little taste of some videos/pictures you can see on my insta!

But I want to use this post to talk about this.... Life can get so busy sometimes, it's okay to admit when you need a break. I have struggled thinking about writing this post. I WANT to be able to blog & graduate school & teach full time & be a good wife/sister/friend/dog mom/etc., but that's just not always possible. I needed to decide what was best for me during this time, and that's stopping the blog posts. I am hoping that I can continue writing them over time, and post them as I finish OR that I'll be able to come back in full force soon!!

If you're feeling like me... if you're feeling a bit lost or overwhelmed, remember that it is okay to re-evaluate your priorities and make choices that support you mentally/emotionally/physically! I love being able to connect with other teachers and share tips or tricks, but I also know I need to take care of me first.

Being healthy mentally and physically helps me be a better teacher in the classroom. In terms of working, this is my PRIORITY!!!! I work for my students. I am here for them... not to prioritise my extracurricular things over them. In that way, my blog and instagram come secondary!

Take a break when you need it, teachers. You are more important. You are relevant. Your student need you to be healthy and happy. Don't kill yourself trying to be everything all the time! Take what time you need.

All that said... I will be back, and hopefully very soon!

See you again ASAP,

xoxo Taylor
